New Kensington, PA, USA- On a semi-cool night SEETHE, KELLER, and A KILLER’S CONFESSION played at Preserving Record Shop music venue Preserving Underground. Hardcore was felt all through the soul that night. Preserving Record Shop and Preserving Underground is in a church which makes for a great venue for music. Preserving Underground has a stage upstairs and a stage downstairs, the Preserving Record Shop is also upstairs. It is all in one building. Tonight’s show was at the downstairs stage. Hardcore was all in the air that night.
The first to hit the stage was SEETHE, a nice performance with an intimate crowd who enjoyed the performance. SEETHE, dressed in a black dress shirt and white tie, made many new fans that night. KELLER took to the stage with an emotional performance. Both vocalists hit right into the heart of the audience. The band are good musicians. The drummer is great. The guitar solos are just what the crowd wanted and felt every note. KELLER is a good band that gave a good emotional performance in a music genre full of hardcore heaviness. A KILLER’S CONFESSION hits the stage. Their name is scarier than the band. A heavy, hardcore band with a message. The band played a set with emotion and that emotion was felt by all in attendance. The band wears masks that are made by House, a special effects artist and mask maker. It is an intimate show and vocalist, Waylon Reavis, takes advantage of the intimate setting to be able to talk to the crowd. Three television screens are set up behind with visuals for the music. This simple stage setup works well.
Heart-pounding drums, roaring guitar, a bass line that pulls it all together, plus a frontman vocalist who isn’t afraid to speak his mind and entertain the crowd make the concert one not to be missed. The lighting effect was minimal but added to the dark heaviness of the music. The lighting was white, red, a little green, and a little blue and it added to the ambiance of the entire feel of their show. The audience responded great and there was even a circle pit at one point during the intimate concert. The circle pit from a small intimate just proves how good the audience was responding to the hardcore music. A great performance was given by a great hardcore heavy band. The Preserving Record Shop and Preserving Underground is a music venue that lets people make great memories with a great band. A KILLER’S CONFESSION will have a full-length album out shortly titled Victim 1. The band still has a few more shows here in the United States.
