Pittsburgh, PA, USA- Christmas music is always positive to listen to and reminisce about holidays past. It will make one’s heart feel good. The host for Mannheim Steamroller is the spectacular Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. This theater is the perfect backdrop for Mannheim Steamroller. Mannheim Steamroller is known across the world for its talented musicians performing Christmas music. The orchestra tours and brings the holiday season to the masses.

Mannheim Steamroller has two touring casts, one is green, and one is red. Tonight’s performance is by the Red tour cast. The musicians were excellent. Mannheim Steamroller performed each song with smiles, one could tell each musician is enjoying performing for audiences. Chip Davis always creates the best compositions for a truly magical experience for listening that everyone enjoys. Included in tonight’s performance was a special rendition of the song “Convoy”, it was a nice memorial to the late C. W. McCall with whom Chip Davis had a good professional relationship. It was good to see a touching memorial to a fellow singer and songwriter.

The thing that makes Mannheim Steamroller special is the audience members. For example, there was a couple who was seeing Mannheim Steamroller for the first time, while another couple explained that this is a Christmas tradition and had been to a Mannheim Steamroller concert for many years. This makes the heart happy, being able to share experiences with others is what makes amazing memories. Below is the program list for tonight’s performance and the tour cast list of performers.
