Burgettstown, PA, USA- As people were still entering the amphitheater, JINJER hit the stage at The Pavilion at Star Lake. A roar of happiness came from a decent-sized audience already inside and ready to rock. JINJER, BREAKING BENJAMIN, and DISTURBED are touring and this stop on their tour brought them in front of a Pennsylvania crowd ready to have a night full of fun and great memories.
JINGER, a metal band from the Ukraine, with a heavy, loud drum intro gave the audience a beginning to a night to remember. Energy from the band an audience picked up as the band played. White, blue, green, and yellow lighting gave their set a lighting background with some strobing effect that made the show even more enjoyable for fans. The stage fog effect which made the setting smoky was even more outstanding while the sun was setting. A good performance was given by JINGER and a great start for the fans who were there and still filling the amphitheater.

BREAKING BENJAMIN came to the stage bringing energy while the already extra-large audience was still growing in attendance. The usage of screens and imagery including the projection of the stage show onto screens which help even those in the far back see everything that is happening on stage is very well done. Red lighting dominates but other lighting includes an array of not only red but blue, orange, white, and yellow. Along with lighting with some strobe effects and screen projected imagery some smoky stage fog effects make for an exciting show as the sun sets. There was a fantastic guitar solo. The larger audience sang along with the band on some songs, and everyone was having a good time. It was a wonderful performance from BREAKING BENJAMIN.

A massive audience was there when DISTURBED took to the stage. The audience lit up with a roar of excitement, with red, blue, green, white, and yellow lighting effects including strobe effects and some smoky stage fog, this was going to be a night to remember. DISTURBED brought high energy to the stage and the audience responded well, including singing along to songs. The use of pyro throughout the show was impressive. When playing Sound Of Silence, the piano was on fire and it was beautiful against the nighttime sky. A wonderful drum solo, a great guitar solo, and a beautiful bass solo made for a spectacular rock concert. The sparks overhead of the band added to the melodies of each song played. The performance mixed with the pyro made for highly energetic emotions throughout the night. There was also a somber moment in which vocalist David Draiman would let the audience know of some struggles he had gone through and stated, “This is the largest group therapy”. A cheer from the audience of support for the band and each other made the moment mean so much more. The song The Light had a moment all its own with the audience holding up cell phone lights and lighters. In that moment we were all one. Their performance was special and spectacular.
