Burgettstown, PA, USA- An evening of rock ‘n’ roll is just what Pennsylvania got from their home state band BREAKING BENJAMIN. It is a nice sunny evening, going into the night at the PAVILLION AT STARLAKE in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, and four bands are here to rock to a huge audience. The evening begins with KAMI KEHOE playing with a decent size audience as more concert goers keep pouring into see the show. The stage is set simple and KAMI KEHOE even shows her skills as a drummer. KAMI KEHOE set is good and seems to have fun on the stage. It is a nice start to what is sure to be a night of rock and memories made by a rock ‘n’ roll audience.
As the crowd grows as more attendees enter the PAVILLION AT STARLAKE the next to take to the stage is STARSET. This is a band who needs to make a science fiction movie. This band does not disappoint in concert. A video screen imagery encapsulates the band with images to compliment their music. The lighting for the stage changes to set the mood for each song the band plays. The colors are red, orange, green, blue, white, yellow, lavender/purple, lighting that is all around the stage and amphitheater. The space-like helmets the band wears are very alien-like. This band is wonderful when thinking about stage presence with a theatrical flair. The band is joined by a cellist and violinists, and this only adds to the band’s sound. The sound is good. The lighting is good. This band should think about playing DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia some year. STARSET played a new song called inhalation with a fantastic response from the audience. Overall, the performance was great.
CHEVELLE takes the stage to a large roar from the large audience. This trio knows how to make a loud rock ‘n’ roll sound. The crowd, has grown larger, responds loudly with love when CHEVELLE hits the stage. There is interesting video imagery playing behind the bands on the screens. The sound of CHEVELLE is great. The lighting is beautiful and bright in colors of blue, green, red, white, orange, and yellow. There is also some strobe lighting to enhance the lighting of their performance. A wonderful band with a good stage presence. Great vocals, and great musicians are in this trio. The audience in attendance loves this band.
The time has come for BREAKING BENJAMIN to take the stage, and they do with an abundance of love screaming from the audience. The band comes out and the lights glow up to enhance their unique video screen imagery. Lighted by red, white, blue, purple, green, orange, and red throughout the band’s set, it is a concert memory in the making for many in attendance. Pennsylvania is BREAKING BENJAMIN’s home state, so for them to play at PAVILLION AT STARLAKE is heartwarming. A high note is the video screen imagery of the video game HALO. BREAKING BENJAMIN played the new song Something Wicked with the sweetest response from the enthusiastic audience. Fantastic vocals and fantastic musicians, this is what makes BREAKING BENJAMIN.
