Monroeville, PA, USA- Conventions are fun and they are a part of pop culture in this present time. Steel City Con seems to be a medium to large con that keeps growing each year. It is a fun con and it is in Monroeville, PA, USA. This is a great con for new cosplays and experienced cosplayers. If one is looking for a convention that is of a larger variety for their first, second or third conventions, then Steel City Con may be the convention for them. Steel City Con for December is a nice convention that is a good way to spend time with other con attendees where one knows they have something in common with others.
Steel City Con attracts some of the biggest names in entertainment. Actors, artists, musicians, voice over artists, and wrestlers welcome the fans to Steel City Con December 2025. Horror legend Robert Englund, who on October 31, 2025, received his Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, was in attendance to appreciate all the fans who stood in line for an autograph and/or picture. Other noted actors from the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise were in attendance as well, such as Heather Langenkamp. Other stars who were there for the fans included: Edward Furlong (Terminator fame), Linda Hamilton (Terminator, and recently in Stranger Things) Katey Sagal (Married with Children and Sons of Anarchy fame), Hank Azaria (The Birdcage, Brockmire, and Along Came Polly), animator Don Bush, Ron Perlman (HellBoy and Beauty and the Beast fame), John Stamos (The Beach Boys, Full House, Fuller House fame), Dave Coulier ( comedian and Full House, Fuller House fame) , Cassandra Peterson (Elvira Mistress of the Dark), and Randy Quaid (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation fame). This is just a few, there were many more who were there for their fans. A fun and exciting time was had by stars and patrons of the con.
The Con is held at Monroeville Convention Center and the panels professional photographs opportunities for the con is held inside The Doubletree hotel right next to the convention center. This is a good way to maximize space for the fun that is had at this con. The panels are a nice way to see and listen to the stars speak about their careers. This is a good way to feel a bit of nostalgia and memorable moments that one can remember. There are a variety of venders to be found at Steel City Con. The panel for Cassandra Patterson, also known as Elvire, Mistress of the Dark, was a highlight of the con for many. She spoke about her career as the movie host Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, from the beginning to present. She spoke about her other career endeavors including her recent cookbook, Elvira’ s cookbook from hell, as well as her autobiography. It is a special kind of joy to hear one of a person’s favorites speak about their career.
