Slam Dunk have just announced the first wave of artists for next year’s highly anticipated festival.
Alternative UK rockers, Don Broco, will be headlining the all day event at Leeds and Hatfield next May bank holiday weekend, joined by State Champs, The Wonder Years, Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck, Bayside, Issues, Ice Nine Kills, Motion City Soundtrack and Hands Like Houses.
Don Broco frontman, Rob Damiani, recently spoke to Kerrang magazine about the band’s abilities as headliner, saying, “I just think that the proof is in the pudding. Actions speak louder than words, and if you come to the show you’re going to see that it will blow everyone away. I completely back us live!”.
Adding that other Slam Dunk 2020 act Four Year Strong “were one of the first bands that we ever toured with in the UK – we were supporting them, and they’re fucking awesome. We love those guys and they’ve just got so many tunes, and the energy is so sick.”
The festival will take place at Leeds Temple Newsam Park and Hatfield Park and celebrates 10 years since the first Slam Dunk South date, making it the only place to be next May bank holiday!
Tickets go on sale Friday 27th September. Visit the Slam Dunk website for tickets and more information and be the first to hear new updates about next year’s festival on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
