Paloma Faith played at Cliffs Pavilion, Southend last night.
The Hackney-born singer put on an energetic and captivating set, showing no signs of slowing down despite nearing the end of her 26-date tour. For this tour, Faith has taken the unusual decision to play a 2 hour set, with no supporting acts and an interval halfway through. Faith kicks off the night with her latest hit-single ‘How You Leave a Man’. The empowering song sets the tone for the first half of the night, which explores the end of her marriage and finding confidence in herself again. Following the interval, Faith delves into the songs which have defined her career, including her debut single, ‘Stone Cold Sober’ and fan-favourite ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’.
By the end of the night, the crowd have been treated to a masterclass in entertainment, with Paloma Faith combining her love for acting, performance and music in a spectacular fashion.
