Pittsburgh, PA, USA- A chill in the air welcomed the patrons of the Benedum Theater for the Performing Arts as they made their way in for a night of the sounds of the holiday season. MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER played to an incredible audience in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The thing that makes Mannheim Steamroller special is the audience members. This makes the heart happy, sharing memories of traditions with others is what makes the most beautiful new memories. The Benedum Theater is known throughout the world for its gorgeous chandeliers, which are huge and lovely. There are actual tours of the theater when the chandeliers are being cleaned, and people show up from all over to watch. The Benedum Theater is home to the Pittsburgh Ballet performances, but tonight it is all about the sounds of the holiday season from MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER.

MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER is known across the world for their talented musicians. Tonight’s performance is no exception. The performance is unique by all the musicians enjoying themselves while playing Christmas carol favorites. This is the 40th anniversary of MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER and the 50th anniversary of FRESH AIRE. During the performance, it is enhanced by red, yellow, blue, white, green, and purple lighting effects. There is also a projection screen behind performers with beautiful scenery throughout their performance. The set list includes favorites Winter Wonderland, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, Little Drummer Boy, Joy To The World, Carol Of The Bells, Feliz Navidad, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, and Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow. The audience responds wonderfully to the performance.

MANNHEIM STEAMMROLLER is a tradition for many families around the globe. The orchestra brings joy and memories to many in the audience. Chip Davis always creates the best compositions for a magical experience for all listeners. There are two touring orchestras throughout the holiday season bringing Christmas music to the masses. Tonight is the red tour band; there is also a green tour band. Below is the red tour band for tonight’s performance and the green tour list.
