Lucia Fontaine was first support for The Big Moon. She had another three band members on stage with her including a guitarist, bass guitarist and drummer. Lucia was wearing a black shirt pinafore with a white long sleeved top underneath. She was also sporting grey sparkly tights with socks and plimsole type shoes, great shoes for all her jumping around. Her voice was gritty and husky, but it had sweet tones too, and she sang 70s style punk songs. Her first song was Best Boy and it really flowed. It was a great tune from this young girl. My favourite song was the second one A Little Pick Me Up. Lose my mind had prolonged words. I loved it. It explained why The Bay City Rollers had this girl warm up their Barrowlands crowd before Christmas in 2015. When I Think, What I Am and Saturday Is Dead were all performed well with lots of energy. Well done to a young girl that picked up a guitar at 14 years of age.
Lucia Fontaine supported The Big Moon at Glasgow’s King Tuts Wah-Wah Hut, on the 29th October 2016
