Pittsburgh, PA, USA- On a chilly night a punk show came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States of America. This is not just any tour; this is a Dropkick Murphy’s tour! This is Dropkick Murphy’s St. Patrick’s Day tour, and what a tour it is! A stacked punk rock line-up that will make one’s mouth water, includes opener’s Haywire and The Aggrolites. The concert is at the venue Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The venue is a good-sized venue, and it also has outside concerts in the warmer weather months, but tonight this is all about a great concert inside, a sold-out show! It is standing room only and that is saying it nicely, is it crowded? Yes. Is it a fantastic concert? Yes!

The first band up is the band Slugger. Slugger is thrilled to be a part of tonight’s show. They are punk rock at its finest. Good drums, rough vocals, and overall, a good punk band. The audience as it is still filing into the venue has a good response to Slugger. At one point, there is a small circle pit formed. A good first band. Following Slugger, Haywire takes to the stage with a commanding performance. The sound is great for Haywire. An energetic performance who even has a Sweet Caroline sing-along with the audience. The large crowd took well to Haywire.

The Aggrolites hit the stage with a full house and their punk sound with a semi-ska-like influence. The Aggrolites serve up music that is a little funk in punk. A delightful sight to see the band live for anybody. Crowd surfing is going on during their set. The sound is wonderful and the atmosphere is pure bliss.

A sold-out audience is rowdy and ready for punk with bagpipes- a large roar of approval develops from the audience as Dropkick Murphy’s hit the stage ready for a takeover with music. This is a band that knows how to have fun. Dropkick Murphy’s has been punk rock for thirty years, so happy birthday! They bring their unique and awe-inspiring punk rock to the masses. They are a band not afraid to say something and this is what makes them so special. During this show, there is a accordion solo, there are bagpipes, there is a banjo, and this brings the sounds of punk rock to life. This is the air to breathe, and it is beautiful. The wonderful energy from the huge wall-to-wall audience had an electrifying energy that encompasses crowd-surfing and circle pits. This kind of energy is what makes a Dropkick Murphy’s show different from any other seen in a long time. This is the band that brings Boston, MA attitude to everybody. The stage is simple with lighting of yellow, orange, blue, purple, white, red, green, and pink lights. There is a small amount of fog when needed. The songs range from the old to the debut of new songs. Old favorites such as “The State of Massachusetts” and “Shipping up to Boston” drive the audience into a punk rock dream. The new debuts such as “Never Alone” and “Citizen Ice”. Dropkick Murphy’s has a new album titled “For the People”,
