Stephen Fry said something about Beethovens Symphony Number 5 being well known.
He added that someone else, of literary note, or some kind of note, at the beginning of the 20th Century, had mentioned the symphony being stunning.
I’ve listened to it – but I find it far too pompous, regal and twirly – for my liking – it lacks soul, melody and subtlety and softness.
