The Sheepdogs @ The Deaf Institute, Manchester

Richard J Hyslop April 15, 2018 1

A Canadian Rock and Roll band, The Sheepdogs released their latest album Changing Colours in February this year, I managed to catch them for the performance at the Deaf Institute in Manchester.

I’d heard bits and pieces from them over the years from mountain bike movies and I’m sad to say had not really given them the attention they deserve, from the blow away vocals of Ewan Currie to the multi talented Jimmy Bowskill and Shamus Currie, they are now a band firmly planted at the top of my playlists.

I whole heartedly suggest you have a listen via their Spotify page.

Album is good, too. Quite a classic sound – a couple of places reminded me of The Allman Brothers!
