Cattle & Cane are a folksy five piece from Teesside, made up of siblings Joseph, Helen, Fran and Vin Hammill and Tom Chapman. If that wasn’t enough to sound charming, their newest release ‘Come Home’ will persuade you.

The single is lifted from the band’s up-coming debut album ‘Home’ and is a sweeping folk rock anthem. The intricate guitar picked riff provides the backbone of the track, whilst extra guitars lead up to a swelling chorus, one that really gets the hairs on your arms standing on end. Joseph and Helen’s vocals intertwine, creating beautiful harmonies packed with emotion. ‘You don’t have to be alone you know / come home‘ cry the lyrics, a desperate plea made more and more compelling as the track flies along to its conclusion.

The band already have backing from BBC introducing, Radio 6Music and Radio 2 and with a single that sounds like it was made for radio play in ‘Come Home’, it’s not for nothing.
