What can be said about this album by Bullets that the live performance does not back up. It is raw but polished rock n roll. The usual industry standard rock songs about LA, women and drinking a tad touch much are in there but it is how they are arrange on this double cd that keeps it interesting. Stand-out songs Welcome Holiday and Murder Maria are catching from first listen. To be honest you do not realise you have listened to so many songs. Not because they all sound the same. That is not the issue. Although any genre of music has its repetition. It is purely the smooth way the tracks lead you through with great lyrics and a voice that sounds like it has been fine tuned with whisky and nicotine and the lifestyle he is singing about. Album title – I don’t think so. If you like Avenged Sevenfold but want something a bit more grown up. This is your band. Sometimes you need to look further than the main stream performers to get the real hard sound of rock and I believe these guys have it. If a good live performance backed up by good honest songs is what you are after, this is it. I highly recommend the tour in December supporting Gunfire 76.
